1. களைக்கொல்லி மருந்தே உடனடித் தேவை

அ. மன்னிப்புக் கேட்ட ‘டைம்ஸ் ஆஃப் இண்டியா’

(இந்தியாவின்) மும்பையில் இருந்து வெளிவரும் ‘டைம்ஸ் ஆஃப் இண்டியா’ தன் பத்திரிகையின் ஒரு பட விளக்கத்தில் காஷ்மீரை, ‘இந்திய ஆக்கிரமிப்பு காஷ்மீர்’ என்று குறிப்பிட, அதற்கு பெருத்த எதிர்ப்பு கிளம்பியது எக்ஸ் தளத்தில்.

பிரச்னை பெரிதானதைக் கண்ட டைம்ஸ் ஆஃப் இண்டியா மன்னிப்பு கேட்டு, ‘காஷ்மீர் இந்தியாவின் ஒருங்கிணைந்த பகுதி’ என்று குறிப்பிட்டிருக்கிறது.

(இந்தியாவின்) சென்னையில் இருந்து வெளிவரும் ‘தி இண்டு’ நாளிதழில் பாக். பிரதமரின் பேச்சு Lead (தலைப்பு) செய்தியாகவும் நமது பிரதமரின் பேச்சு துணைச் செய்தியாகவும் வந்தது பெரும் சர்ச்சையைக் கிளப்பி இருக்கிறது. இது குறித்து அந்த பத்திரிகையின் இயக்குநர்களில் ஒருவரான மாலினி எக்ஸ் தளத்தில் வேதனை தெரிவித்திருக்கிறார்.

தமிழக தொலைக்காட்சி சேனல்களில் நிகழும் விவாதங்கள் என்ன narrative (கருத்தாக்கம்) உடன் நடத்தப்படுகின்றன என்பதை சிறு குழந்தை கூட புரிந்துகொள்ள முடியும். சமூக ஊடகங்களில் இந்திய வெறுப்பு மிகவும் சிறப்பாக, சமயோசிதமாக நிகழ்த்தப்படும் மாநிலமும் தமிழகம் தான்.

எதிரிகளை அழிப்பதை விட துரோகிகளைக் களையெடுப்பது முக்கியம். இந்திய அரசு முன் இருக்கும் பெரிய சவால் இதுவே.

பல்குழுவும் பாழ்செய்யும் உட்பகையும் வேந்தலைக்கும்
கொல்குறும்பும் இல்லது நாடு.

2. The tears shed in Pahalgam get justice

I want to write a lot on a lot of things.

-want to say happy birthday to friends.

-want to answer some queries.

-want to start some discussions.

-want to share some good things.

But each time I come here, blood of Pahalgam numbs me. It remains undried and till now unavenged.

It is a personal tragedy. A personal pain.

Bringing back normalcy to Kashmir was a great victory of the Modi-Shah government. Beyond that, it was a civilizational success for Bharat. In my college group, almost all friends have posted their visits to Pahalgam. It all was possible post-2014. I am sure this Government foiled countless such attempts. But for terrorists, just one breakthrough is enough.

So let us not forget that the Modi Government:

-stopped terrorism throughout India and limited it to Kashmir.

-made Kashmir relatively free of terrorism until this incident, though the army was constantly on combing operations eliminating terrorists.

-extracted a heavy price from the sponsors of terrorism from across the border each time a terrorist attack happened, even within Kashmir, in such a way that terrorism then went silent for the next few years.

While there can be and there are legitimate criticisms of this government in other areas, their commitment to national security and counterterrorism is undeniable. And their achievements vital.

It’s important to recognize this fact and give it its due central place in the context of broader governance. The Modi government, particularly with the involvement of Ajit Doval’s team, has demonstrably prioritized national security and made significant strides in combating Islamist terrorism. This is a crucial achievement that deserves recognition particularly at this emotionally surcharged moment.

To exploit the horrific bloodshed of the Pahalgam massacre for political attacks against this government is an act of utter moral bankruptcy. It demonstrates a callous disregard for the pain of our brothers and sisters. The Modi government must, and I am certain will, ensure that every perpetrator and supporter of Islamist terrorism related to this atrocity faces unwavering justice, so that the tears shed in Pahalgam get justice.
